This coming week is "Open Access Week". This is a global activity to try and raise awareness about making scholarly outputs such as journal papers, and research more available in an open way to the general public.To celebrate Open Access Week, the Open Education Resources Foundation has organised a series of free, open online seminars from 18th - 22nd October.
I will be talking about my experiences of running an open access course, 'Facilitating Online', with my colleague Bronwyn Hegarty on Thursday 21st October at 11.00 hours New Zealand in a talk called "OER: Beyond the rhetoric".
