Vuvox: a great alternative to PowerPoint

I have just been introduced to a nice alternative presentation tool to PowerPoint by @carlosrizo: vuvox collage. It's very easy to use and looks really nice. The only thing I need to work out is if I can download the collage so I can use it if I haven't got access to the Internet.

Here's a collage I have made about Flickr and Creative Commons.

Hi - Not come across this tool before, will need to give it a try. Your collage about Flickr and Creative Commons could come in very handy as I've lost count of the number of times I've tried to tell people how to advance search for CC images.

Could you tow do me a quick favour: please could you compare this to an Animoto video I made on the same subject...I want to know which is the clearer presentation for 'teaching' this topic....the link to the Animoto video is:

Not a comment on the tool, but on the content. Do you think it would be easier to simply point people to http://www.flickr.com/creativecommons and search?

Probably it is easier to show a screencast because I think you can miss the Creative Commons info if you don't investigate 'advanced search'. There are a number of videos on YouTube, including one you made :)

Hi again Sarah - I think the new Vuvox presentation is clearer than the animoto one. Another option would be screenr.com which would let you record some narration.

I should have done that, Natalie. The trouble was that I was sitting in my living room doing this...surrounded with family...watching TV. So I wanted to do something that didn't involve making an audio recording :)

A quick screen cast will be the best thing next time :)
