Ina May Gaskin podcast

MIDIRS has made a pod cast of an interview with Ina May Gaskin and made it available on its web site. Ina May Gaskin is a midwifery guru and seen by many midwives and women as a strong advocate of midwifery. Her book 'Spiritual Midwifery' has been a seminal book for thirty odd years and her work at the community The Farm is legendary. So this podcast is really worth checking out.

MIDIRS newsletter
The other things MIDIRS is advertising this week is an article on prolonged pregnancy; news about the latest NICE evidence-based guideline: induction of labour; a free online seminar about complementary therapies and a feature about being a student midwife.

If you haven't subscribed to MIDIRS online newsletter, then do so now because it is a great resource for midwifery information and online resources.
